Architects and architectural technicians attending Digital Construction Week (18-19 October at London’s ExCel) will discover how they can benefit from artificial intelligence and predictive design and learn how to maximise the adoption of BIM.

Graphisoft’s vice president of marketing, Ákos Pfemeter, will present at DCW as part of the event’s conference programme, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in the construction industry. Ákos will discuss why the industry has been slow to embrace this technology and suggest ideas on how the industry can overcome this reluctance with the help of technologies such as predictive design.

Other sessions to watch out for are the free to attend seminar sessions at the event, which include Karl Thurston, Graphisoft’s BIM consultant’s presentation in the BIM Village on Wednesday 18th October, where he will discuss how to maximise BIM adoption with a people first approach. Offering insight into how to ensure the whole team is fully engaged in the BIM process.

Graphisoft’s pre-sales consultant, Pelin Gurkan, will also present on the Tech Stage on Wednesday 18th October, showcasing algorithmic design in action with a demonstration of the ARCHICAD-Rhinoceros-Grasshopper connection.
